Activities

There is plenty to do at Batnuni Lake Resort, if you want a switch from fishing. We have numerous trails suitable for hiking or quadding.  How about exploring the historic Sir Alexander MacKenzie Trail?  One of the old grease trails, it was used by the coastal First Nations people on their spring trips to trade oolichan with the people of the interior.

Canoeing is excellent, with routes on both the Blackwater and Euchininko Rivers.  The Euchininko feeds a beautiful chain of seven lakes.

Want to go farther afield? We can provide transportation and deluxe camping to numerous outlying lakes and rivers.

How about a winter wilderness holiday?  Snowmobilers will find spectacular scenery and access to hundreds of miles of old trails.  Both the Telegraph Trail and the Sir Alexander McKenzie Trail are close by, as are many other trails used by ranchers in the past.
